Job Summary

This position will be responsible for administration of designated applications and interfaces, including but not limited to, Salesforce.com Platform. Administration may include development, level 2 incident support, maintenance of profiles, report creation, security, deploying releases and production support. Issue support and requests must be completed accurately and timely. This position will ensure proper documentation of processes, procedures, system configuration and troubleshooting tips. This position will also assist or manage in the implementation of approved new projects. This may include but not limited to, project management, requirements management and test case documentation.

Job Description

This position will be responsible for administration of designated applications and interfaces, including but not limited to, Salesforce.com Platform. Administration may include development, level 2 incident support, maintenance of profiles, report creation, security, deploying releases and production support. Issue support and requests must be completed accurately and timely. This position will ensure proper documentation of processes, procedures, system configuration and troubleshooting tips. This position will also assist or manage in the implementation of approved new projects. This may include but not limited to, project management, requirements management and test case documentation.


Salary Range: $100K- $110K






  • Provide level 2 support on all designated applications and interfaces. This may include instructions, troubleshooting application issues and/or adding profiles.

  • Maintain a strong working knowledge of the applications supported including: purpose, capabilities, limitations and use within the business.

  • Create and maintain documentation on processes and procedures in supporting the designated applications, including security and its interfaces.

  • Maintain security on applications and environments.

  • Create Dashboard and reports on Salesforce.com platform

  • Lead small to medium projects. This would include creating and maintaining a project plan, lead design discussions, notes and agendas.

  • Research / Lead / Identify and recommend root cause (solutions) for production issues. Create and maintain knowledge base.

  • Create test cases that will be used by the business unit. This includes working with that business unit to understand their processes.

  • Communicate with users regarding incident status and system/functional availability.

  • Follow the change management process including maintaining CMRs, approval of changes and test coordination. Research, test and document potential impact of changes.

  • Perform and assist in testing of the designated applications and interfaces.

  • Provide documentation and reports to management for auditing purposes upon request.

  • Review priorities with supervisor and ensure focus on highest priority incidents.

  • Ensure that issues or problems that cannot be resolved are escalated to the appropriate technical team.

  • Work with areas requesting use of the system both inside and outside IT to create reports, screen layouts business rules and processes so that the software works to enhance those areas.

  • Perform and assist in all audits requested by Finance or IT Process and Governance.

  • Ensure user licensing is maintained with roles and profiles.

  • Provide bi-weekly and monthly metrics and accomplishment reports to management team with commentary regarding problem areas.

  • Provide on call support as needed.


Competencies / Critical Skills:



  • Highly effective communication skills (written and verbal)

  • Experience with Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook required.

  • Experience with data loader and source control preferred.

  • Must exhibit a sense of and demonstrate responsibility, focus on delivery, and ability to lead independently with appropriate general direction

  • Experience with Agile development practices required.

  • Project Management experience preferred.

  • The ability to interact professionally with a diverse geographically dispersed group, including executives, managers, and subject matter experts

  • The ability to lead application administrators both offshore and onshore

  • Advance knowledge of administration on Salesforce.com platform including best practices


Qualifications


Education


Required



  • Bachelors or better in Information Technology or related field.


Experience


Required



  • 5 years: Admin Experience on Salesforce.com

  • Agile Scrum Experience

  • Salesforce.com configuration changes, including (but not limited to): Flow, Process builder, fields, page layouts, record types, custom settings, data integration with vendor platforms


Preferred



  • Strong knowledge in the following - Eclipse/Visual Studio Code, Apex, JavaScript, Lightning framework, data hygiene and security and test-driven development
