General Description:  


Datavail is looking for a highly motivated, experienced, and ambitious Microsoft D365 Solutions Architect. The ideal candidate will have a consistent record of engagement, leadership, and execution in the Microsoft Dynamics CRM consulting space. They will bring their extensive experience to design, deliver, and support our D365 CRM pre-sales to grow and mature of Dynamics practice.


Key Accountabilities and Priorities: 



  • Lead Datavail's Dynamics Practice and manage a team of D365 engineers

  • Work with Sales on CRM demonstrations, pre-sales and solution architecture

  • Provide architectural direction and support to Datavail clients as well as Datavail D365 engineers

  • Drive CRM solutions for D365 Sales, Marketing, Customer Service and Field Services

  • Develop and implement change communications plans, able to develop key messages and tactics for D365 projects, communicating effectively with affected audiences to achieve intended outcomes

  • Communicating enterprise-wide cloud messages to impacted D365 stakeholders and end-users

  • Provide technical and business leadership to Datavail clients to empower their D365 digital transformation.

  • Demonstrate the ability to collect, analyze and interpret qualitative and quantitative data and information to develop a thorough understanding of stakeholder motivations, preferences and opinions

  • Contribute to thought leadership and practice development effort to help evolve and mature practice service areas.

  • Contribute to cloud-based business development efforts through activities such as pre-sales client presentations, research, proposal development, and SOWs


Requisite Abilities and/or Skills:



  • A clear understanding of the Dynamics 365 CRM platform

  • Familiar with the core Microsoft offerings

  • Working knowledge of  Azure, Azure Pipelines, and DevOps 



  • Understanding of  .Net C# and .Net Core development with D365 integration portals

  • CRM development experience with plugins, custom portals, other custom Dataverse-connected applications.

  • Strong agile and communication skills and preferably someone familiar with the Microsoft Suite of release management tools.

  • Ability to creatively approach challenges and projects and to work effectively, both independently and in teams

  • Proposal writing, product demonstration and presentations

  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills


Required Abilities and/or Skills:



  • Architectural Experience with MS Dynamics Modules

    • Sales

    • Marketing and at least one of the following

      • Field Service

      • Customer Service

      • Business Central





  • Experience with related D365 Technologies

    • Kingsway Soft

    • ClickDimensions

    • Tibco Scribe



  • Experience with Microsoft PowerPlatform

    • MS PowerAutomate

    • MS PowerApps

    • Dataverse




Required Education and/or Experience:



  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related technical field or equivalent job experience.

  • 10+ years of hands-on experience of building solutions using Microsoft Dynamics 365 CRM/CE

  • 5+ Years of experience as either a technical lead, technical architect or solution architect with Dynamics 365 CRM/CE.

  • Experience developing integrations directly with the Microsoft Dynamics 365 CE, Power Platform and Azure.
