Senior Marketing Data Engineer - Remote
3Ci is recruiting a REMOTE Senior Marketing Data Engineer for our rapidly growing client in Marietta, GA. As a Senior Marketing Data Engineer, you will be responsible for developing and implementing ways to drive business and convert prospects into customers. This is a remote, direct hire opportunity.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Strong understanding of process flow and data lake ecosystem (marketing perspective)
- Understanding of attributes on data models and how to segment customer data based on models
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to translate stakeholders (marketing) needs into data structure, ETL, and dashboard requirements
- General marketing experience (Digital Marketing preferred)
- Experience in Adobe Portfolio of Products (Adobe Campaign, Analytics, AEM, Cloud), Azure Cloud, and Azure Data Lake
- 6+ years of digital marketing analytical experience in a data engineering, BI, or technical data role supporting marketing
- Expertise with ETL tools (SSIS, Informatica, Data Stage), Domo, and other visualization tools
- Proficiency in implementing data warehousing solutions
- Expert understanding of MS-Azure stack (Azure Data Lake, Azure Data Factory, Azure Databricks)
- Understanding of Azure services, including Azure Data Lake Analytics, U-SQL, and Azure SQL
- Capacity to understand customer persona models and how to provide enrichment (understand the customer via provided data)
- Strategic thinker with little concern regarding specific tools
- Ability to confidently present to the business, even resulting in failures
- Comfortable working within a SQL database
- Ability to use Word to create required technical documentation, such as solutions design, architecture and design diagrams, and detailed comments in code base
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Analyze various facets to segment a customer
- Characteristics that can be added to persuade them to complete their purchase
- Implement methods to convert prospects into customers
- Collaborate with the marketing campaign and analytic teams, understanding the segments and how data is consumed
- Work with SMEs within the Adobe team
- Partner with Adobe Engineers, AEM developers, campaign managers, business data engineers, analytics team members, content managers, and senior data engineers
- Individually attribute to differentiating a customer
- Translate ambiguity to order, providing clarity in complex project situations
