Job Summary


The SFDC Developer/Admin will be responsible for participating in the design and implementing the configuration, development, unit testing, and deployment of CRM solutions on the salesforce.com platform.  Responsibilities also include monitoring and managing complex integrations at the beginning of each workday to ensure users are seeing accurate data.  Apart from strong technical skills on the salesforce.com platform, the SFDC Developer/Admin must possess good interpersonal skills as they will partner with business analysts/solution architects, end users, and IT personnel to create and implement end to end solutions.  This position reports to the CRM Manager and requires experience managing multiple priorities and deadlines.  This is role will be mainly remote with time in the office for meetings a few times per month.  


Job Responsibilities




  • Direct experience with lightning and lightning components.




  • Web design concepts, CSS styling, HTML.




  • Work with business analysts/solution architects and users to understand their business processes and requirements and convert them into technical design.




  • Develop or enhance custom objects, Visual Force pages, APEX classes, triggers, Apex batch processes, Apex Web services and APIs, Test Coverage classes, and JavaScript.




  • Monitor and  manage complex integrations at the beginning of each workday to ensure users are seeing accurate data.




  • Direct experience with configuring and customizing in Salesforce.




  • Perform administration tasks in the Salesforce.com instance. Manage fields/relationships, workflow rules, process builders, flows, approval processes, page layouts, validation rules, email notifications, custom buttons/links, reports, dashboards, roles, profiles, and sharing rules.




  • Perform unit testing and fix defects prior to QA.




  • Work with management to identify new and creative opportunities to leverage the data to support additional business processes or functions.




Job Requirements




  • BS in Computer Science or related field preferred, with a strong IT foundation




  • The ideal candidate will have at least 6 years of overall IT or programming experience, with at least 4 years of direct experience in Salesforce.com development and administration work.




  • Must Have Personal Attributes:  Drive, Initiative, sense of urgency.




  • Must have excellent written and verbal communication skills.




  • Must have organizational skills and detail orientation with the ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment with competing priorities.




  • Exposure to the SFDC data model, data architecture, and data management.




  • In-depth understanding of the capabilities and constraints of the salesforce.com platform coupled with a good understanding of common business processes. Must be a confident self-starter individual who can completely own the delivery of high value work products.




  • Planning and analytical skills, and strong problem-solving skills with a willingness and ability to learn new software features.




  • Understanding of key SFDC architectural concepts (e.g. API, governor limits, and test coverage) and how they influence design.
