What You Will Do In Your Role

This technical lead position within the Building Products IT team creates long-term value by ensuring that that all the technical aspects of our salesforce.com® implementation are managed well. You will be responsible for:



  • Provide leadership for the overall technical development and deployment of new functionality, enhancements to existing functionality, and defect remediation for our salesforce.com® implementation (Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Marketing Cloud, and Experience Cloud)

  • Work with business analysts, technical architects, and developers to translate user story requirements into technical designs for salesforce developers to use when delivering via configuration or custom code (via flows, triggers, APEX classes, Lightning Web Components, Mulesoft integrations, etc.)

  • Provide complete and accurate estimates for required development time.

  • Coordinate onshore and offshore developers in delivery, unit testing, QA, and deployment of user stories and defect fixes

  • Maintain data models, data dictionaries, and other technical documentation

  • Work with our MuleSoft integration team and other system owners (ERP, CPQ, Finance, etc.) to define and implement integrations of data between systems

  • Develop and implement data migration strategies as needed to transform and move data from multiple systems into the salesforce.com platform or make updates to data already stored in salesforce.com®

  • Coordinate application monitoring and technical support for the salesforce.com® platform


The ideal candidate will bring experience working with salesforce.com and customer portals along with the ability to influence technical solutions to effectively meet business outcomes. The ability to connect cross-divisional business user stories to solid technical designs and implementations will be key to success. This position will split their time between coordinating development work for the team and doing actual development and data work.


The Experience You Will Bring


Requirements:



  • Expertise in salesforce.com® configuration and development

  • Experience in coordinating development with a team of people

  • Experience with implementing and supporting complex databases and integrations

  • Familiarity with Agile development methodology and deployment technologies


What Will Put You Ahead



  • BS Degree or equivalent in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or MIS.

  • Experience in creating solutions in salesforce® Experience cloud for customers and partners

  • Experience in managing data migrations into salesforce.com or other CRM platforms.

  • Experience working with MuleSoft or similar systems integration tools.

  • Experience working with offshore development resources.
