Platform Manager - Salesforce

Position: Platform Manager - Salesforce


Location: Oklahoma City, OK / Remote


 


Summary: As a Salesforce Platform Manager, you will play a vital role as the face of the Salesforce platform to the business. We are looking for a proactive individual with a good understanding of the Salesforce platform, who can understand both our current setup and business objectives in order to quickly identify areas of improvement and enhance our Salesforce ecosystem to deliver consistent business value.


This role is responsible for the overall management of the platform including, but not limited to leading the development and execution of the Salesforce roadmap, understanding business objectives, and aligning them to technical solutions. This individual will also develop platform methodology and best practices for the company and drive the adoption of all users. They will be involved in growth strategy discussions alongside the business units - primarily Operations and Marketing teams. This individual should be comfortable with liaising with stakeholders of all levels and learning new business processes in order to translate them into functional and technical solutions.


Finally, this individual will have a desire for continued learning and proactively seek to improve the Salesforce org.


Up to 15% travel may be required for this position.


Responsibilities:



  • Define, lead, and communicate platform strategy and vision that aligns with broader company goals and positioning to ensure scalability

  • Partner with the business units to determine initiatives that will need to be supported by Salesforce

  • Depending on framework/methodology leveraged, act as a PM or Scrum Master for Salesforce projects and enhancements

  • Develop and manage the backlog of enhancements and maintenance work

  • Management of 3rd party and consulting/development partners

  • Relationship management with the Salesforce account team

  • Own the user adoption of Salesforce processes and procedures

  • Maintain adoption dashboards and data-quality dashboards, reviewing regularly for indication of adoption and areas for improvement and/or training needed

  • Stay abreast of new SF and/or 3rd party tools, functionality, and updates and share with the team

  • Stay abreast of new/revised business processes that impact the SF org

  • Review/approve all system configuration changes to all Salesforce instances

  • Work with the Salesforce team to optimize flows, user permissions, page layouts, lightning pages, security, releases, etc.

  • Serve as a lead and mentor to the Salesforce team

Qualifications & Background:


Required:



  • Strong Salesforce product knowledge with at least 5+ years of hands-on experience as a Salesforce developer and/or consultant

  • Certified Salesforce Administrator


Desirable:



  • 2+ years working in a Salesforce consulting capacity

  • Hands-on experience with Health Cloud, Service Cloud, and/or Marketing Cloud

  • Additional Salesforce certifications e.g., Salesforce Consultant, Business Analyst, Platform Developer

  • Blood center, healthcare, or clinical experience

  • Product management experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in Management Information Systems or Information Technology Management
