Senior Salesforce Developer

Job Summary:
The Senior Salesforce Developer will join a growing team of Salesforce professionals, who are responsible for the overall design, implementation, and support of solutions in the Salesforce.com environment. This role requires the ability to configure, develop and support both declarative and coded solutions in Service Cloud, Sales Cloud, Community, Lightning development and the Force.com platform. 

Position Responsibilities:
Duties include designing and implementing key technical components of Salesforce solutions and working collaboratively with other technical and non-technical resources to develop and deliver solutions for evolving business initiatives and challenges.  Daily functions also include ensuring compatibility with evolving business requirements. Along with the analysis, building, testing and deployment of projects and solutions, this role also collaborates with internal team members, as well as stakeholders and end-users to ensure a complete development lifecycle & compatibility with evolving business requirements.  We operate in a flexible and proactive work environment to facilitate a quick response to changing business objectives and growth.


•    Provide system administration support of Salesforce and related systems.
•    Collaborate with internal stakeholder groups to develop and communicate comprehensive business requirements and technical design, as needed.
•    As the Subject Matter Expert, develop system design specification documents. 
•    Monitor system user adoption and provide training, and/or input to trainers.
•    Perform configuration, testing and deployment of highly visible, corporate initiative system projects.
•    Follow through full system projects, utilizing your expertise to determine business problem, business impact, risks, value, solution options, plan for development, testing, deployment, etc.

Characteristics must include attention to detail, proficient problem solving and the ability to prioritize and multitask. Self-motivation and an inherent sense of urgency is critical.

Required Qualifications and Experience:
•    8+ years’ experience as a primary Salesforce Developer of Apex Classes and Triggers, Visualforce, Lightning components, test class coverage and the Salesforce API.
•    8+ years’ experience as primary administrator of declarative Salesforce setup components and configuration, including flows, validations, approval rules, permissions, etc.
•    Strong soft skillset: analytical, troubleshooting, communication, effective listening and collaboration.
•    Ability to understand and follow Salesforce implementation and release best practices.
•    Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Engineering or comparable experience. 
•    Both Salesforce developer and administrator certification strongly preferred.
•    Experience with Salesforce Lightning experience.
•    Knowledge of Salesforce Appexchange solutions.
•    Deep understanding of Salesforce Data modelling, management, security and SOQL.
•    Experience with Workbench, Developer Console, Salesforce Dataloader, Github, AutoRabit, etc.
•    Understanding of the full SDLC (Software Development Life Cycle)
•    Experience developing and documenting system design specifications.
•    Experience with Salesforce Sandboxes and release management processes.
•    Comfortable practicing Agile Methodology.
•    Experience with data and system migrations a plus.
•    Full Stack development /other system API experience a plus.
•    Additional Salesforce certifications a plus, i.e. Administration, Service Cloud, Community, Data Architecture, etc.
•    Experience with iPaaS systems a plus (Workato, Boomi, Mulesoft, Zapier, etc.)
