Your impactHandshake is hiring a Senior Salesforce Developer to help scale and evolve the systems that power our go-to-market engine. You’ll partner closely with RevOps, Sales, Account Management, and Customer Success to build high-impact solutions in Salesforce—from quote-to-cash automation and CPQ configuration to custom integrations with BigQuery, Outreach, and beyond.
This role will play a critical role in streamlining workflows, improving data quality, and accelerating decision-making across the revenue org. Your work will directly enable our teams to move faster, sell smarter, and deliver an exceptional experience to our customers.
This person will be expected to work 3 days out of our San Francisco HQ (M/W/Th) and remote the remainder of the time to help facilitate collaboration and get face time with the team.
Your roleSalesforce Development & System Enhancements
Design, develop, and maintaincustom Salesforce solutionsusing Apex, Lightning Web Components, Flow automation, and Visualforce

Improvequote-to-cash processes , supporting CPQ configuration and pricing models
OptimizeSalesforce data architecture , ensuring clean, structured, and efficient storage
Buildcustom workflows, process automations, and UI enhancementsto streamline sales operations
Collaboration & Technical Leadership
Partner withSales Operations, Marketing, and Customer Successteams to translate business needs into technical solutions
Work alongsideRevOps analysts and system architectsto define and prioritize Salesforce development projects
Provide technical guidance to junior admins and analysts, helping build ascalable and well-documented system
Act as a technical lead inevaluating, implementing, and integrating new sales tools
System Administration & Governance
SupportSalesforce user and license management , role-based access controls, and permission sets
Monitor and improvedata hygiene , implementing governance rules fordata integrityand reporting accuracy

Your experienceTechnical Expertise
3+ years of Salesforcedevelopment and administration experience
StrongApex, Lightning Web Components, Flow automation , and Visualforce skills
Hands-on experience withSalesforce CPQ, quote-to-cash processes, and pricing models
Proficiency inintegrating Salesforcewith other business applications (e.g., Looker, BigQuery, Outreach, Census)
Knowledge ofGit, CI/CD, and agile development best practices
SalesforcePlatform Developer I certification(Platform Developer II a plus)
Sales Ops & GTM Understanding
Experience working withSales, RevOps, and Marketing teamsto optimize workflows
Strong understanding ofsales processes, pipeline management, and forecasting
Comfortable working withlarge data sets, SQL queries, and ETL processes
Cross-Functional Collaboration
Ability totranslate technical conceptsfor non-technical stakeholders

Compensation range$147,000-$184,000 (85/15 OTE split) + RSUs
For cash compensation, we set standard ranges for allU.S.-based rolesbased on function, level, and geographic location, benchmarked against similar stage growth companies. In order to be compliant with local legislation, as well as to provide greater transparency to candidates, we share salary ranges on all job postings regardless of desired hiring location. Final offer amounts are determined by multiple factors, including geographic location as well as candidate experience and expertise, and may vary from the amounts listed above.
