RESPONSIBILITIES:
The ideal candidate will have extensive experience within Microsoft Dynamics for Operations and Microsoft Dynamics Customer Engagement. The initial project will consist of the following deliverables:
- Discovery and Assessment of current implementation
- Gap analysis
- Current state vs. Ideal state
- Creation of roadmap to move from current state to ideal state
- Recommendations & best practices
To achieve the creation of these deliverables, the ideal candidate will be able to interact with the business to gather requirements, assess possible solutions within the technology stack and articulate solutions in a written format. The solutions should be in a format that any future developer and/or architect could easily move forward with development. The candidate, in this phase, will be self-sufficient and working independently, which will require discipline and high levels of motivation to ensure a quality product is delivered.
The primary responsibilities of the Microsoft Dynamics Architect are:
- Gather requirements from the business and from existing support staff.
- Based on requirements, create detailed design documentation.
- Provide recommendations and best practices to enhance the overall project’s effectiveness. Guide the customer through avoidance of any pitfalls.
REQUIREMENTS:
Experience and Skills
Five (5) plus years working experience with Microsoft Dynamics Finance & Operations and/or Microsoft Dynamics AX.
- Five (5) plus years working experience with Microsoft Dynamics Customer Engagement.
- Omnichannel for Customer Service experience supporting all channels
- System architect level of understanding of best practices within Microsoft Dynamics Operations
- System architect level of understanding of best practices within Microsoft Dynamics Customer Engagement.
- Highly proficient in Microsoft Licensing.
- Expert level in interaction of Microsoft Dynamics with other systems via APIs
- Previous experience as a leader who can guide business users through the requirement gathering process. Must be highly proficient at requirement gathering.
- Ability to create proof of concepts where necessary to enhance the requirement gathering process.
- Track record of analysis of requirements and conversion to documentation.
- Ability to create documentation that is bullet proof.5
- Experienced and comfortable working with virtual teams (onshore, nearshore, and offshore).
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent job experience.
Desired skills and qualifications include
- Microsoft Dynamics 365: Finance and Operations Apps Solution Architect Expert certification.
- Microsoft Power Platform Development and Solution Architect experience.
- Previous experience integrating Sitecore with Microsoft Dynamics
