Salesforce Business Analyst

Qualifications

• Strong Healthcare, Pharmacy or Life Sciences industry expertise
• 5+ years overall IT experience, including 3+ years of systems analyst and 2+ years of application development experience
• Willingness to travel (less than 30%)

• 3+ years working for Healthcare provider/ Pharmaceutical company/ Life Sciences company
• Salesforce Health Cloud project experience
• Salesforce Certified Administrator
• Salesforce Certified Service/Sales Cloud Consultant
• Experience in JIRA

Responsibilities

• Analyze user needs, program functions, and steps required to develop and/or modify applications
• Capture & assess business requirements, provide design leadership to address impact to process flows, systems, and applications
• Capture and appropriately communicate project business requirements (both functional and non-functional requirements)
• Conduct Gap Analysis - Business Requirements Evaluation vs. Best-in-Class practices
• Develop Requirements Traceability Matrix for use in development and quality assurance
• Business Processes Definition – From setting objectives to application process definitions
• Business Case Development and project estimation support
• Support Quality Assurance test strategy and contribute to test coverage assessment
• Process Definition and Business Transformation
• Systems Development – Definition, Design, Testing, Roll-out
• Participate in technical research to enable continued innovation within IT systems

• Ability to collaborate/communicate with project team and business users as required
• Experience with waterfall, iterative, and agile methodologies
• Ability to work independently towards a goal
• Ability to work in an environment that may be ambiguous at times
• Strong analytical thinking and attention to detail
