POSITION OVERVIEW


The Salesforce Administrator will be responsible for maintaining and improving the organization's Salesforce implementation. This includes working with users to identify their needs, configuring the system to meet those needs, and providing training and support as needed. The Salesforce Administrator will also be responsible for maintaining data integrity, developing reports and dashboards, and ensuring the system is running smoothly. The Salesforce Administrator will work closely with the operations, sales, marketing, and support teams to ensure that the platform is meeting their needs and optimizing their workflows.


Reporting directly to the Chief Technology Officer, the Salesforce Administrator should have extensive experience with the Salesforce platform, as well as a deep understanding of the company's business processes and goals. They should have strong communication and problem-solving skills and be able to work independently and collaboratively within a team.


This position works remotely, and may be required to work extended hours, including, evenings, weekends, and holidays at certain points throughout the year. This position will also be required to travel and work on site as needed.


Top priorities include:



  • All aspects of user and license management including new user setup/deactivation, roles, profiles, permissions, public groups, OWD, sharing rules

  • Configure and maintain Salesforce applications and customizations

  • Salesforce configuration changes, including (but not limited to): Workflow, Process Builder, Flow, assignment rules, approval processes, fields, page layouts, record types, dynamic layouts, apps, actions, custom settings, mobile administration, dashboards, and reports

  • Understanding of basic triggers/Apex code knowledge

  • Sandbox environment management

  • DevOps/release management experience

  • Work with users to identify their needs and configure Salesforce to meet those needs

  • Provide training and support to users on how to use Salesforce effectively

  • Evaluating and installing new Salesforce releases, as well as providing training and support.

  • Documenting processes, including error reports and changes to field history tables.

  • Develop reports and dashboards to provide insights into the organization's sales and customer data

  • Maintain data integrity and ensure the system is running smoothly

  • Troubleshoot and resolve any issues that arise with the Salesforce implementation






Qualifications





Skills, experience and required qualifications:



  • Must be eligible to work in the US and able to pass a background check

  • 5+ years of extensive experience with the Salesforce platform, including knowledge of its capabilities and limitations

  • Strong understanding of CRM concepts and best practices

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously

  • Experience with data analysis and reporting is a plus

  • Certified Salesforce Administrator

    • Additional Salesforce certifications e.g. Advanced Administrator, Platform App Builder
