Additional Information – New York Only*
The base salary for this position will vary based on geography and other factors.
In accordance with New York law, the base salary for this role if filled within New York is $100k-$150k/year & benefits (see below).
Responsibilities
- Support product managers on large projects to produce better business outcomes
- Analyze and decompose current-state business processes
- Define target-state business processes and align functional solutions
- Drive information-gathering activities such as surveying, analyzing and evaluating processes, products and services, by using a variety of internal and/or external data
- Develop and present documentation supporting project initiatives including business case, project scope, business and functional requirements, user stories and use cases in accordance with established service levels and documentation standards
- Assist with all phases of the SDLC with emphasis on requirements, UAT and Change Management
- Assist in coordinating business unit subject matter expert meetings to solicit and cross-reference business and functional requirements
- Help ensure the project team is adhering to project plans and help identify and resolve discrepancies
- Support product managers(s) in meetings and presentations (e.g., meeting notes, presentation materials, business reviews / sign-off)
- Track deliverables and ensure items are closed within project timelines (e.g., action items, open questions, requirements sign-off, business reviews, etc.)
- Complete assigned project deliverables according to the project plan and expected quality
- Ensure all product documentation, FAQ’s, and runbooks are captured and up-to-date
- Work closely with change management and manage user feedback related to CRM products and features
- Collaborate with product managers to review and prioritize feedback
- Provide subject matter expertise for new and existing (BAU) products and first response to the production support team for CRM product team
Requirements
You are:
- Equipped with 2-5 years of experience in a large organization or major consulting organization focused on Business Analysis within the Equity, Fixed Income, or Investment Banking domains
- Experienced with Salesforce.com implementation and integration, including different business systems and working with integration tools
- Highly attentive to detail with thorough documentation skills
- Experienced in configuring Salesforce, including workflows, validation rules, and security controls
- Able to leverage analytical and problem-solving skills in a fast-paced environment
- Able to collaborate with business stakeholders, business process owners, technical project managers and technical teams to execute business analysis tasks
- Driven with a desire to learn and grow both technical and functional skillsets
- Inquisitive and continuously focused on identifying inefficiencies and improving business processes
- Able to thrive in a collaborative environment with excellent interpersonal skills
- Goal-orientated, self-motivated and adaptable to changing situations
- A strong verbal and written communicator with excellent presentation and interpersonal skills; must be detail-orientated
- Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Project, Visio, SharePoint as well as other project management and time tracking tools
It would be great if you also had:
- Experience in Investment Banking and/or Global Markets (Equities and Fixed Income)
- Salesforce Certifications and SQL knowledge
- Experience with Salesforce Communities Setup and Configurations
