The Role

 

The Salesforce Developer will collaborate to design, develop, test, and deliver scalable and secure solutions on Salesforce.com Sales, Marketing, Service clouds utilizing Apex, Visualforce, SOQL, LWC, Force.com, MVC concepts, and other related frameworks and technologies.

 

The Developer will communicate and interact well with peers and user groups who have varying degrees of technical ability. The developer must have the ability to understand documented and verbal user requirements and be able to translate these into a technical reality that is efficient, secure, extendable, and maintainable.

 

The ideal candidate is someone who thrives on solving complex problems, taking ownership, and implementing solutions to address business needs.

What You’ll Do

 



  • Serve as a software developer for Sales, Marketing and Service applications based on Salesforce.com Sales, Marketing and Service clouds utilizing Apex, Visualforce, LWC, MVC concepts, Force.com, JavaScript, CSS, HTML etc.

  • Partner with various product owners and stakeholders from Sales, Marketing, Services, and Finance teams to extend functionalities of existing applications, implement new cloud applications, integrations, and other enhancements.

  • Work with integration platforms like Boomi to design, develop and deploy integration services that operate efficiently, securely and accurately in a global environment.

  • Collaboratively design and document system data flows, integration mappings, object models, and other relevant technical aspects of the various solutions.

  • Wherever required, provide help in data cleaning, data transformation and data upload/download.

  • Provide inputs to architects and Business Systems Analysts in evaluating solution options for implementing new requirements or enhancement requests.

  • Troubleshoot issues with various solutions in production in a methodical and timely manner and build a thorough understanding of functionalities, configurations, customizations, code deployments, workflows, and data models across commercial IT landscape to progressively improve the troubleshooting response time.


Requirements



  • BS degree in Software Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or Mathematics

  • Experience of 3+ years on Salesforce.com development

  • Must be well versed in Apex, Visualforce, LWC, MVC, Force.com, Flow, Process Builder, SOQL, ETL and related frameworks and technologies

  • Curiosity and eagerness to learn new technologies and methods

  • Experience with client-side scripting (JavaScript)

  • Experience with MVC designing

  • SFDC Developer certification


Nice to Have



  • Exposure to Salesforce community sites and customer self-service portals

  • Experience in implementing Pardot and integrating it with Salesforce.com

  • Experience in migrating a Salesforce.com classic org to Lightening org

  • Experience in WordPress and PHP
